Grunge revival
So ive noticed that grunge is back and its become slightly more glam. Stars such as Taylor Momsen and Sky Ferreira have recently been showing how messy can be cool. To get the grunge look yourself, just think ripped tights, messy hair, bands tees and doc martens. Shop in thrift stores and dont be afraid to recycle old clothes. Just remember that its all about originality, so dont be afraid to be yourself.

Stripes
Black and white stripes are making their way around the fashion world right now, and i think they are amazing as they are slightly quirky and, if they're vertical, they will make you appear taller and slimmer. Woo! Heres some of the pieces i like...

Brothel Creepers
Brothel Creepers
I've had my creepers for about 6 years now, but only recently have they become popular again. This is partially due to mainstream celebrities such as Rihanna bringing them back into fashion. In the 1950's, Brothel Creepers were worn by Teddy boys, who teamed them drainpipe trousers and quiffs. The shoes became popular again in 1970's, with the Punk movement, due to Malcom Mclaren selling them in his shop in London.
In the mid-2000's, US rockers, Green day started to wear the shoes, to fit with their Pop-punk sound. They teamed them with skinny jeans and shirts and ties for a look that was
teddy-boy meets punk.
