Brothel Creepers

Brothel Creepers
I've had my creepers for about 6 years now, but only recently have they become popular again. This is partially due to mainstream celebrities such as Rihanna bringing them back into fashion.  In the 1950's, Brothel Creepers were worn by Teddy boys, who teamed them drainpipe trousers and quiffs. The shoes became popular again in 1970's, with the Punk movement, due to Malcom Mclaren selling them in his shop in London.

In the mid-2000's, US rockers, Green day started to wear the shoes, to fit with their Pop-punk sound. They teamed them with skinny jeans and shirts and ties for a look that was
teddy-boy meets punk.
